Inspiration Tower at Shepherd of the Hills
Nestled in the heart of the Ozark mountains sits The Shepherd of the Hills homestead, one of the area’s most historic landmarks, and Inspiration Tower offers a unique experience to view the rolling landscape from a higher perspective. You’ll take a glass elevator up into the spacious, enclosed observation deck, and enjoy an audio tour which directs visitors to landmarks and points of interest on the horizon. On a clear day, you can see over 90 miles, and the panoramic views are absolutely phenomenal in any season!
During November and December, Inspiration Tower is transformed into the Ozarks’ largest sparkling Christmas tree for the Trail of Lights. Recognized by The Travel Channel as one of the top drive through Christmas attractions in the United States, the Trail of Lights was the first attraction of its kind here in Branson. Winding through the property is two and a half miles of sparkling Christmas lights, accented by over 120 animated displays, including Santa’s workshop, a jolly polar bear family, scenes from the Nativity, and many more! Atop Inspiration Tower you’ll have panoramic views of the Trail of Lights below and the shimmering Branson skyline too, which is sure to be a highlight of your family’s holidays.
