Guests of the Titanic Museum in Branson, Missouri, don’t just visit the attraction; they experience it!
It all starts when guests receive a Boarding Pass with the name and information of an actual Titanic passenger. The journey continues as “passengers” of the Titanic Museum then experience what it was like to walk the hallways, parlors, cabins, and Grand Staircase of the Titanic while surrounded by more than 400 artifacts and interactive displays.
About the Titanic Museum in Branson
Jamie Terrell, a Titanic Crew Member of 16 years, said April 2022 marks a special tribute month for the museum.”April is the anniversary of the Titanic ship sinking,” Jamie told us during an interview. “Everybody comes here to pay their tribute.”
When asked how often new items are put on display or added to the museum’s collection, Jamie said: ” Every year we add something different; we’ll have special pop-ups or different artifacts come through. We have a relationship with Henry Aldridge & Son Ltd in England, who are the leading Titanic auctioneers who deal with collectors from around the world, and we can often preview some of the artifacts before they go up for auction.”
Another BIG announcement is that, for the first time since the Titanic opening in 2006, guests are now allowed to take pictures on the museum’s second floor. As Jamie told us: “Some people who have been here before and couldn’t take pictures are now finding their way back because they can take pictures and bring them home now. It’s very exciting.”
Another great feature of the Titanic Museum Attraction in Branson is the interactive self-guided tour for adults and kids.
“Kids, believe it or not, are our number one repeat visitor,” Jamie said. “They get to touch things here when most museums don’t allow that. Here, they can steer the wheel of the ship, touch an iceberg — all kinds of stuff they can touch, and we find kids are very fascinated with the story of the Titanic.”
The museum gets its share of visitors from schools, tour buses, and families for special events like Murder Mystery Tours, Flashlight Tours, and opportunities to reserve the museum for private events. You can learn more about the Titanic here or when you give us a call at (800) 208-8164.
