Branson’s Famous Baldknobbers, featuring the Mabe family, is a premier country music and comedy show that’s been going strong and steady since 1959 in the Live Music Capital of the World, Branson, Missouri.
When the Mabe family first began family entertainment, they first performed for fishermen on the shores of Lake Taneycomo, and now — over 60 years later — they continue bringing stories, music, and fun to people of all ages.
The Mabe brothers worked hard to establish a live music formula that could entertain audiences of all sorts in a well-versed show featuring country music, comedy, gospel, patriotism, and special performances during the holidays. Watching the Baldknobbers perform is part of Ozark legacy as this cast and crew give it their all and keep a fine balance of traditional acts with some new elements added every season.
